The Opportunity
Directed acoustic and infrasonic events have historically been difficult to see, corroborate, or document because no broadly available public or commercial detection infrastructure exists. Suroda is building it as software.
A single detection core—infrasonic, acoustic, and optical detection with multimodal fusion and evidence workflows—serves consumers, commercial operators, and government and research deployments from one platform.
Structural Moat
Suroda executes natively on the phones, microphones, webcams, and security cameras already deployed in homes and facilities. There is no sensor to manufacture, ship, install, or maintain.
That zero-hardware model lets the same software scale from an individual bedroom to a commercial site, and from consumer subscriptions to managed enterprise deployments, without a change in cost structure.
IP & Assets
A nonprovisional utility patent application with 34 claims is pending, directed to Suroda’s core detection architecture: multimodal detection, evidence preservation, and correlation methods.
Development is backed by an event-rich corpus held under exclusive license—80,000 hours of video for optical detection and 8,000+ hours of audio for acoustic detection—used for validation and product refinement.
Founder Bio
Brian Goss | Founder & CEO
Identified a systemic security flaw affecting approximately 2,200 financial institutions — a finding escalated through the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston to the FFIEC, resulting in a federal directive for institutions to replace the vendor.
He brings over three decades of leadership in enterprise systems, security architecture, and software infrastructure across public and venture-backed technology companies, including 16 years of independent consulting. His cybersecurity work has protected critical infrastructure across New York and New England.
Invited by Gartner to co-present on disaster-recovery implementation at its Washington, D.C. conference. Suroda is the culmination of this work—applying forensic rigor from regulated environments to a class of signal evidence no one has been able to document.
